Accordion-type fire curtain
Accordion-type fire curtain it is an invisible compartmentation system that allows the isolation of a specific section of a space.
Thanks to its configuration, it is possible to create completely open spaces, as no side guides are required. The purpose of the system is to prevent flames from passing from the affected area to the adjacent area in the event of a fire, thus preventing the spread of fire.
It is a concealed system that remains retracted in the upper housing until activation, at which point it deploys automatically and in a controlled manner.
Accordion-type fire curtains represent a solution lightweight, aesthetic and innovative for the design of open, unobstructed spaces while maintaining the compartmentation requirements between fire sectors.
Protection objective:
- Fire resistance for 120 minutes at over 1000ºC (Integrity).
- Without thermal insulation.
- Without reduced thermal radiation emission properties.
Characteristics:
- The system is designed to remain permanently open and closes only in the event of a fire, when it receives an activation signal from the control panel or from any fire detection device in the building.
- Accordion-type fire curtains are installed only to maintain integrity against flames. Therefore, it should be considered that in the case of an advanced fire, thermal radiation may affect elements in the adjacent sector.
- The systems are not intended for reuse or reopening for evacuation or for access by emergency response personnel in the event of a fire.

- Upper housing with a galvanized sheet metal finish.
- Removable brackets for reinforcing the housing and supporting the roller. The front opening is designed with rounded edges, without sharp edges or corners.
